Pueblo Evita Hill

The location is excellent, everything was close to us, Paloma park which is wonderful, marina, zoo, cable car, old town of Benalmadena, water sports, a number of restaurants and cafes to choose from. See life, Selwo marina etc. Apartment was really so clean and tidy and you have everything you need for cooking, washing etc.

Some of the furniture of apartment is very old and need to change. We will in some kind of stress not to break something. Among that, To stay in the apartment for another 4 hours, they asked us to pay additional 40 EUR, (The price for whole one day was about 60 EUR). That was unacceptable to us.

Location very challenging

Not to take €60 just because we got there after 10pm no mention of this excessive over charge just to get into the apartment we had already paid for this should be made clear on the page before booking No reception but a reception is on the booking.com description the contact number provided on Booking.com is located in France and goes straight to answer phone to useless No bar/restaurant No safe Wi-Fi has a charge to pay

Perfect sized apartment for a family of 4, large balcony with dining table and 2 sunbeds. Rooftop terrace with amazing views and pool.

We had to pay 10 euros on arrival to use wifi, the fridge/freezer did not work the whole stay. We were advised by the pool staff that the landlord had not paid her communal fees and really we should not be using the facilities available, i did read this in another review from june before booking however i thought it would be a one off. Landlord advised it was a mistake.

It was basic but very clean, they provided a clothes horse, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hob, grill, microwave and even a parasol for the beach. The apartment block is located on a steep hill, and my calves were like rocks with going up and down each day, so not ideal for the less mobile as the apartments are also up quite a few flights of steps in addition to the steep hill. We found it hard in the extreme heat but it was exercise that I needed. We hired a car and only found one day where we couldn’t park outside the apartment, but there are plenty of roads close by where you could park close by. Air con in rooms worked perfectly. Coffee and milk supplied on arrival early hours , and was needed until we could get to the supermarket the next morning. Our usual holidays consist of 4/5 star hotels, but we wanted to allow the children to experience what you can do with a budget. We ate out every night and travelled the coast and local area daily which is where most our money was spent. Why spend a fortune on accommodation if it’s clean and you can do so many other things in addition.

Just a minor gripe, although the location is perfect you could hear the people above and below but we didn’t experience much noise other than the odd night. People in the above apartment thought it nice to throw cigarette butts onto our balcony, just glad it didn’t fall onto our clean washing. It would have been nice if some bin bags were provided and more than 2 rolls of toilet roll for 4 people just wasn’t enough, we ended up having to purchase these but no great cost, more an inconvenience.
