The resort is very family friendly with safe and energetic environment. Special thanks to Abdul-Munaim who went above and beyond to accommodate us.

The appartment was clean and had all the facilities you need. It had a great view. The bus to the beach was convenient but sometimes gets full. However, the walk was not far.

Porto Matruh doesn’t have many restaurants and and shops so you need to go to the main town for that. But that’s ok and a nice change of pace/scenery

Sea shore is 2 km away No water activities ( jet ski / parasailing / banana etc.. ) Lack of kids activities at night ( only bike rental ) No swimming pool for adults

What did I think of the breakfast? there was no breakfast. And it was Ramadan, so the only breakfast you're going to find in Mersa Matruh is oranges and bananas from a fruit vendor back in town.

This hotel complex is absolutely abandoned in the off season. All the pools are closed, it's like camping out. Management didn't even provide us with towels or toilet paper. We woke up at 7 and got back on the road. Manager asked us why we didn't get a room in a hotel in town? It was a good question and when we came back through Mersa Matruh that's exactly what we did. This complex should not be renting rooms if they aren't prepared to provide guests with toilet paper or towels.
