"Beautiful location, but the lack of ventilation, and limited facilities made the stay uncomfortable"

The location is in a beautiful countryside setting, with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s well positioned for visiting Volterra and within reach of Cecina and the coast. The person who welcomed us in person was also kind and helpful.

The room had no windows, which we didn’t realise when booking, making it feel very enclosed with poor ventilation. This was uncomfortable over time and triggered my husband’s rhinitis, ultimately leading us to leave earlier than planned. There were also maintenance issues, including a faulty fridge and a broken chair; although these were addressed, the replacement fridge was not clean, raising concerns about hygiene. The property is listed as a 3-star hotel but doesn't operate like one (no reception, check-in in the parking area, and breakfast via a voucher at a nearby bar). The limited facilities may not suit all travellers.

Värden var inte på plats varken vid incheckning eller utcheckning. Vi var tvungna att ringa för att komma in fastän det var en avtalad tid
