La Posada Pacifica

The location, the design, the fully stocked kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable

We cooked our own breakfast and had some too just some steps aways from the property. The recommended restaurants were fabulous and affordable. Restaurant Los Abuelos, we give them 5 Stars!

Someone was using a saw machine below we=here I stayed, making way too much noise. No one told me about it. It would've been nice to have known ahead of time so I could have made the appropriate changes

Spacious and comfortable

La Posada Pacifica is incredible. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, so comfortable, the A/C works great but there are heaps of fans too, the kitchen is great, the wifi strong. But by far the best part is the balcony and the view. The river and mountains are always visible and we spent hours watching the summer storms. The location is perfect because you're away from the other tourists but just a short walk to everything in the town. Boca de Tomatlán is a paradise and this hotel was my favourite stay in all of Mexico.

Nothing!!

This is a great place for those looking to stay in Boca de Tomatlan. The town is not for everyone ... it's not an extension of Vallarta. The building itself is nice and the apartments are clean and well furnished and very comfortable. There are cooking utensils, a barbecue upstairs, and the hosts are great people !

I don't recommend staying a long time there. There's really no reason to stay in Boca de Tomatlan for more than a few days to access the beaches to the south - which are amazing. But it's easy enough to stay in Vallarta and take the bus for 10 pesos and do the beaches for the day either by hiking or taking the water taxis. The problem with the town is that there are really no good markets to shop. There is a carneceria though and a little market with everything you need. There's zero else to do in the town with no beach. So a few days is all you need.
