River walk and room

Breakfast was very basic

Location was great, tucked away from downtown buzz on secluded street along the river, but still within walkable distance to main attractions. We had a good sleep after our flight in. Breakfast options were OK, but no hot food except warm strudel (which was great with coffee btw). Very reasonable price for what you get.

Old historic building full of rustic charm with nice location by the river. We liked the large terrace where we could park the motorbike and had outdoor breakfast. It was a very warm day so we appreciated the Aircon after long day of riding. Clean with comfy beds and walk in shower.

The room was quite small so it was a bit of a squeeze with our bike luggage. Breakfast was okay but the selection was more limited than expected.

Beautiful old building in quiet surroundings a little away from the center of Bassano, but directly on the Brenta.

On our arrival, and up to the last five minutes of our stay no reception or staff was present. On our departure a non-italian speaking couple (which we had never seen before) explained the modalities of payment; we would have greatly preferred to be informed about these facts by a receptionist in a one-on-one conversation during the two previous days of our stay. Our room on the 2nd floor was rather dark and without a view (e.g., of the Brenta); with luggage the ascent to the second floor proved tedious. By phone we were told to park our car on the edge of the public road in front of the building, despite a non-parking sign. Overall the room equipment was ok, but the spirit of traditional hospitality and warm italianità was unfortunately not at all present.

Quiet location by the Brenta river. Hemingway memories and remind. A kind service at breakfast.

It has been promised a garden view but the room had a window looking at a wall. The room was really hot at my arrival and the lock was broken, so you couldn’t lock the door from inside. In the bathroom the light was on the opposite wall, behind your face.

Nice and peaceful what i was looking for. By the Brenta river, a short stroll to the town. Very clean and comfy.
