Beautiful surroundings, very interesting building, charming, helpful and friendly staff, lovely room and bathroom with excellent hotvwater and a magnificent swimming pool

It was a bit chilly in the evenings - no doubt the imminent refurb will make heating easier. The menu did not change from evening to evening and though the meals were very good they were not good enough to make me book ss a non-resident, in spite of its being a wonderful place to ask someone to

Location was idyllic with wonderful walks. They managed our food intolerances well and with courtesy.

The old windows in our room were draughty and rattled but I understand refurbishment is due.

Breakfast was very good. The rooms were very pleasant , large, classically furnished, had great views , beds were comfortable, WiFi worked. Staff were friendly and pleasant by and large, there was a lift to the 2nd floor where we were (in Molly's room)

The only slight transgression was that the vegetable moussaka was ordered by two of our party of four but they both thought it wasn't really moussaka and didn't seem to have any aubergines (eggplant) in it. One of the complainants was Greek! But they still ate it :)

The staff were absolutely lovely! The grounds are beautiful and it’s nice and warm

Needs updating but they’re about to start a full renovation. Will definitely go back once it’s finished

Easy access to Ickworth House. Extremely helpful staff.

Restaurant was not very warm. Service charge added automatically to drinks .

Super accommodating and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds, plenty to do if you visit with family with toddler.
