The property is gorgeous and perfectly situated to explore the attached National Trust property and nearby Bury St Edmunds. The hotel is extremely family friendly.

The beds and room decor could use a refresh. The restaurant was perfect for catering to little ones, from child friendly dining sets and high chairs to lots of menu choices. However, the food for adults was hit or miss.

Beautiful grounds, very friendly staff, lots for children to do.

No windows to open in the bedroom so no fresh air, no plugs near the mirrors, very loud upset babies in the children’s crèche upset my children who didn’t want to stay or return the next day.
