Poggio Al Palio

Great support from Francesca, beautiful sorroundings, a lot of space in the house (we had 3 bedrooms), quite close to Siena, big and clean swimming pool

Some equipment in not so new.. (like washing machine), quite challanging road to the house (but you don't need 4x4)

No airco, main living/dining room was unusable and it was very difficult to sleep because of the heat. Getting shower at ok temperature almost impossible. Long unpaved road to reach property

Beautiful, quiet location, large fenced area with olive groves, nice accommodation with full facilities, outdoor seating with barbecue, clean and large pool. Mrs Francesca is both friendly and willing to deal with our requests. We will be happy to recommend this place to our friends. A minor negative is the approach to the accommodation along a 1,3 km long steep dusty road, which is however manageable with a normal car.

My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the charming Poggio Al Palio located amidst the stunning landscapes of Tuscany, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. The swimming pool was a delightful feature that provided a refreshing escape during the day, and the property's proximity to the main road made it easy to explore the surrounding regions. One aspect that greatly enriched our stay was the incredible hospitality of the owners. Their communication was prompt, they were always available to assist us and offered a multitude of valuable tips to make our trip more enjoyable. Their kindness contributed significantly to the overall positive experience.

there were a few areas that could use improvement. The absence of an air conditioner was somewhat inconvenient, especially during the warmer days. A cooling system would definitely add to the comfort of the stay. The access road to the property was a bit rough and complicated, particularly during night-time. Clearer directions or road improvements could alleviate this minor inconvenience. Lastly, the comfort level of the beds was not up to our expectation. An upgrade in the bedding would significantly enhance the comfort and overall experience for future guests. Despite these minor inconveniences, Poggio Al Palio, with its serene ambiance, fantastic location, and exceptional hospitality, offers a unique and rewarding stay in Tuscany. For those seeking tranquillity and charm, this is a destination worth considering.

The road leading there is a bit rough. I have a small SUV and it was ok :)

Relatively small - not many guests at the same time. Very calm and silent surroundings.

Road up to the property. Some major sights in Tuscany are about 1 hour drive away.

I want to say thanx to Francisca, they lady who helped us in the check in, she was very helpful and friendly. the place was in the middle of Tuscany’s countryside which allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the nature. the leaving room was wide and with fully equipped kitchen. They offer complementary snacks and beverages like tea bags and coffee beans. I highly recommend this place

nothing, but I have to bring that its not on the road. you have to drive for ~3 min up h hill to reach the gate but its accessible ;)

Everything was very organized and the place is even more beautiful when you see it by yourself.
