Dolphin House

Had the pleasure of staying at Dolphin House for 3 nights while exploring San Cristóbal’s offerings. My room was perfectly comfortable and good value to price ratio. Hot showers, sheets changed daily etc. The highlight for me though was the staff. Always very friendly and willing to help out with any queries I had during my stay. I managed to book a 360 tour and onward ferry to Santa Cruz no problem with them and at great prices.

Está bien ubicada, es cómoda y limpia. Cristian hizo que nuestra estancia sea más sencilla, desde que nos recogió del aeropuerto hasta que nos dejó para tomar el vuelo de regreso a Quito. Nos coordinó tours, equipos, ferry y todo lo que necesitamos. Es un gran anfitrión

A lovely family hotel in an excellent location, close to both the promenade and the nearest beach. We booked a room with a balcony that offered wonderful views of the town. Highly recommended

This place is very convenient for Playa Mann to hang out with the sea lions- about a five min walk. Also ten min walk in the other direction into town. The owner was very helpful and provided a free taxi service to and from the airport. Communication was easy. I would recommend the room with the verandah as it has hammocks to relax in and a view of the port.

Fantastisk tagterrasse med havudsigt , fantastisk vært Christian som er født og opvokset på øen, ved meget og deler gerne ud, hjælper med at finde de bedste ture. Gå afstand til 3 strande hvor du kan snorkel med et utal af sæler og havskilpadder

Everything ! Cristian the owner was wonderful. I contacted him prior to my visit and he advised he could pick me up from the ferry port or airport, provide information amd book tours, and arrange and pre-pay the Speedboat ferry from Sanya Cruz to San Cristabal if required. He booked and paid for my ferry, and a day trip to Kicker Rock, both were well organised and all went smoothly. The superior room on the top floor was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Large comfortable bed with lovely memory foam pillows. The balcony was a great size and included a hammock, which was great to relax on and take in the fabulous views to the ocean. Christian was always there to help when needed, which was much appreciated. He provide information on the island, and looked after me during my stay. On the day of my departure Christian helped with my luggage and took me to the Aiport. Dophin House is a great place to stay, just a short walk from Playa Mann Beach, close to Ferry Port and Airport. Perfect ! 😁

Nothing to dislike.

I highly recommend to stay in dolphin hostal! It is a small locally-owned guest house/hostal right in the centre of the town. Christian and his family are so friendly and welcoming. It’s located 3 minutes walk from main marina street with shops and restaurants and about 7 minutes walk from Playa Mann. Christian helped me to plan my 3 -days stay in San Cristobal, you can book excursions to Kicker Rock and other places. Kicker rock was amazing! And the price is very good for what you’re getting - we had an amazing time on a boat, saw hammerheads, tortoises, fishes. Food and drinks are included (even alcohol!). Don’t forget to ask videos from go pro! The best memories! If you don’t know what to do/to see - no worries, he will help you to build itinerary! He showed me around, drove to see the tortoises and volcano. He recommended me places to eat/have coffee and told me a lot about Galápagos and its history. You can rent snorkeling mask, beach towels there. So you won’t need to worry about spending time and looking for deals in the town. Christian and his family made my stay very comfortable and super exited! Rooms are big, very clean! Hot water in the shower, toiletries, towels, AC. My room had an ocean view. Dolphin doesn’t offer breakfasts, but you can get filtered water for free (water is very expensive in Galapagos!) , you can use kitchen and dining table. There are a few local bakeries, coffee shops just a few minutes walk from the hotel. So if I will ever go to Galapagos again - I’ll stay only here!
