Good hostel, recommended

Good AC, fridge in room and water provided at reception. Good location. Bed made and new towels each day. Let us drop bags off early.

Shower wasn’t hot.

The hotel was simple but sufficient. It was close to the port and only about a 5-minute walk from the town center. There was a pretty good grill restaurant just behind the hotel. The towels were changed every day and the bed made up. There was a small fridge in the room. The neighborhood was quiet. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a water dispenser to refill your bottle. The air-conditioner functioned well.

There was not much storage space to put stuff once you unpacked. I used the second bed in the room to put my things. The WiFi (at least in my room) did not have a good signal at all. The shower was very hard to regulate; one minute the water was cold and the next it was boiling hot. Very difficult to make it just stay nice and warm. It would have been a good idea to have a table and chair somewhere (in the room or outside) to sit and write.

Convenient location - 5 minutes to beach/10 minutes to snorkeling spot and the port/a couple minutes to shops and restaurants. Room was cleaned daily. Fridge and A/C. Very good value for money.

Nobody in the reception all day. No shared kitchen. No refilled water available always.

The staff is just awesome. They care a lot about you and go out of their way to help you. We had issues with a tour agency that sold us non-existing ferry tickets and the staff from Gladys Mar was incredibly helpful. They called the agency multiple times as well as the ferry operators to confirm if we have existing reservations. As it was not the case they booked us new ferries and even went with us to the tourism ministery to ask how we can get our money back from the agency and they helped us make a complaint on the ministery's website about the agency. Super nice and helpful people, highly recommend!

Nice room with air conditioning, very quiet place. Ask for the check out because it is different from what is written in booking.
