"A relaxing stay in a beautiful location."

Amazing design and traditional art work. An excellent location for visiting Otavalo. It is a two-minute walk to waterfalls with adjacent trails. A great location for visiting Otavalo, which outside of the famed market, was rather drab. Some reviewers have complained that the steep hill was difficult to drive up, but my driver made it up with an old car.

I didn’t have any problems with it.

"Architectural gem with charm and friendly atmosphere"

Beautiful built into the hillside outside of Otavalo overlooking the mountains and town. The waterfall is right around the corner. Rooms are spacious with beautiful design and details. Private door leads out to gardens

The people running this lodge are extremely friendly and helpful. They were willing to put up with my rudimentary Spanish, but actually, the owner speaks fluent English. The older lady who ran the kitchen while we were there, is adorable. The decoration of the main parts of the lodge is beautiful. Our room had a little outside sitting area overlooking Otavalo. When we returned in the evening, the fireplace was lit, and we spent a bit of time there, enjoying the ambiance of the common room.

I cannot think of anything important. The bathroom could be a bit bigger.
