Ambiente muy acogedor y de descanso total.

The coffee and honey were amazing! The owner was incredibly hospitable. We liked that the property is outside of otavalo proper in a quieter part of town.

Marcos, the owner, is very knowledgeable about the Kichwa community and gave us great advice during our stay to be able observe the Inti Raymi celebrations. Room is clean, breakfast excellent, the architecture and design is beautiful, and the view hard to find better! Isolina, the staff, was very wonderful and attentive!

Beautifully designed hotel in a lovely spot near Otavalo.

We booked based on the excellent reviews and hotel's colorful design. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We stayed in a deluxe double and the bed took up the entire room which was left feeling very cramped and uncomfortable. We were there in January and the room was absolutely freezing. It would have been nice to have the radiators lit before we arrived so the room would be warm and cozy. It took a few hours until the room was a decent temperature. There is a fireplace in the room but they charge you for the wood, which seems to me stingy given the not inexpensive price of the room. The fireplace in the lounge area was also not lit and the warm, welcoming energy we expected from reviews we read were not present during our stay. We were the only guests at the hotel that day so perhaps that was the reason for the feeling of neglect . When we arrived the only person there to greet us was an elderly woman from the cleaning staff who could not speak English, had no idea how to check us in and did not know how to communicate with Google translate which everyone else in Ecuador seemed to be very proficient with. Marcos did arrive eventually and was helpful, but all in all our stay at the hotel did not meet our expectations.

The room was beautiful along with the entire complex. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and the owner met us and recommended a great place for dinner.

It wasn't a real problem but just be prepared for a steep drive up the drive to get to the hotel
