Very clean and nice renovated old house. Hamo is the owner and was very helpful, kindly person. The breakfast was amazing. The village was very colorful by the river and exotic.

Getting to the hotel can be a bit more difficult than in central hotels. But it's not a big problem and funny sometimes. Getting to the airport can be an advantage.

it feels like home, Mohamed is a very kind, respectful and helpful. the quality and quantity of the food is so good and affordable .. excellent experience definitely I’ll do it again.

Its was a beautiful property, it was clean, and they where very hospitable. Our driver didnt have anywhere to stay, and they gave him a room.

Everything. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Very accomodating since we had to get breakfast packed because of early visits. The food was fantastic which we could order on site. The cosy lounge was a perfect place to play games with family or just for casual chat

Road to the hotel .

The hotel was very comfy and well decorated in Nubian style, giving a sense of a great experience. The staff were very helpful (Hammo) is the one running the hotel and is a very kind and generous man. The laundry was very clean too.

The first day there was no water no water for few hours but that was not their fault.

Very atmospheric place - authentic, vibrant and colorful. It’s a guesthouse more than a hotel. You really feel at home. The facilities are good for the price - clean, comfortable beds, good shower. You can get food, water, coffee, tea. There is a nice common area where you can hang out with decent internet (better than in the room). The owner is a good man with a very personable approach. I arrived late afternoon and was able to go on trips to Abu Simbel and Philae temple the very next day because of his connections. In general, I have very good impressions of the Nubian people (everyone in that village) - much more chill than the Egyptians you’ll meet on your trip. If you’ve been to any other place than Aswan you’ll know what I mean.

The only downside is that the place is somewhat hard to reach - it’s on the other bank from Aswan and there are no paved roads within the village. The layout is a bit confusing and I got lost a couple of times in the village but somebody always helped me get to where I wanted. Also, the hotel is at the top of the hill (you do get a nice view for that), so you’d need to be comfortable walking uphill. That said, the owner organized a tuk tuk and a car for me when I was coming and leaving with baggage (also to the airport) and you can get a boat taxi easily to Aswan center also.

The guesthouse is super charming and clean. The rooms are well-maintained and very colorful. The owner Hammo Was kind enough to share his fascinating stories about his Nubian village. He also makes any arrangements for you to ensure a smooth stay. I highly recommend staying there.

I really like this place. It’s very quiet and you sleep like a baby.
