Best stay in our two weeks in Egypt! The person is very honest and he doesn't insist on anything. We even forget a jacket in a taxi from Aswan to Luxor and he managed everything to send it to our hotel in Luxor for FREE which is not so common in Egypt! It s a tradionnal house, very peaceful, breakfeast is delicious. If you are looking for a real experience you go for it!

"Great, comfortable, welcoming, cozy, quiet place to stay close to the ferry and with good WiFi"

Terrific stay. Very, very quiet. Comfortable beds. Big pillows. Hot water. Good WiFi. Only a 5 minute walk to the little ferry, which runs all the time from 6am to 12 midnight. Saif, the host was so kind and welcoming, even walked me to a swimming spot in the Nile when I asked a good place to cool off.

"Cozy guest house managed by kind nubians"

The kindness and helpfulness of Seif and his colleague. The guest house is small but cozy and has everything you need when you arrive after your daily excursions and walking. Both the room and bathroom were tidy and perfectly clean.

Everything was cool in the guest house. The only thing I didn't like was the big amount of garbage and trash there is in Elephantine island.

Breakfast is fine, very healthy halal foods. Sometimes Mr Saif, the owner, cooks traditional Nubian foods. Oranges, bananas and guavas are provided as complementary. I have traveled many countries and dare say Mr Saif is the best. He is very kind and sincere and honest person. Even he invited me to Nubian Restaurant and gave a precious book as a gift. The room is very clean. I strongly recommend Om Abdallah Guest House.

For me, I can't fine any weak points. I fully enjoyed my time there.

Nice architecture and kind host

All was good, but remember to tell the visitors to bring flip-flops or sandals to avoid putting in sand from outside with their shoes

The host is the sweetest ever. Will help you with everything you need. From booking Abu Simbel ‘till explaining about Nubian history. Will offer you something to drink whenever you come back from a day exploring, or grab some free fruit to go. Place is super clean, beautiful ceiling and has a reasonable price :)
