Struttura molto ben tenuta, camera molto carina e terrazza panoramica. Molto gentile, accogliente e prodigo di informazioni l'host, mi manca il te sulla terrazza in sua compagnia. Veramente indimenticabile il soggiorno sull'isola Elefantina tra le sue bellezze naturali e la simpatia degli abitanti

Very friendly host helped us get a ferry early in the morning, the hotel has a great view on the rooftop.

La ubicación y la atención de Mohamed! El alojamiento de por sí es súper limpio y está muy bien situado. Tiene agua caliente, que en egipto a veces puede ser una situación complicada, así que la verdad que todo fue mejor de lo planeado. Quiero destacar que tuve un problema y Mohamed movió CIELO Y TIERRA para solucionarlo a tiempo!! Muchas gracias por todo :)

I had an amazing experience staying here—the room was spotlessly clean, and the host is truly dependable. They went above and beyond to assist with everything I needed, including booking a Nile sailboat ride, arranging a private car trip to Abu Simbel, and even providing airport transfers. Their help made my trip so much smoother, and their hospitality was outstanding. One small tip for future guests: it’s best to contact the host in advance to clarify how to get from the ferry port to the accommodation. Google Maps navigation isn’t entirely accurate for this route, but the host’s guidance ensures you won’t get lost.

Situé sur l'île Elephatine, la maison d'hôtes est tout ce qu'il y de beau dans la région. Une site exceptionnel et un hôte de grande qualité. très communicatif et serviable il m'a arrangé le transfert par bâteau avec un tarif local. L'accueil est à la hauteur d'un grand homme qui aime voyager et qui aime aussi recevoir. Nous avions eu de grands moment d'échanges et des discussions interminables. C'est un homme de valeur, ouvert et très sympatique. La chambre était bien rangée propre, avec eau chaude et climatisation. Le coup de coeur c'est la terrace. C'est le meilleur endroit de la maison. The rooftop was good can overlook the Nile river.

Facility was not good, especially the aircon, which you cannot change the temperature. Bed was not comfortable, pillow was high and hard.

The owner was very great and helpful, helped us with getting ferries to the town as well as organising trips

There is another restaurant/accommodation closer to the place that plays music until late which was disturbing. Also, it is a bit difficult to get to the accomodation

Mohammed, the manager was extremely helpful, generous and accommodating. It was clean and comfortable and a very nice rooftop terrace.

Nuba Tod is a perfect gateway to explore Elephantine Island. Mohammed, the nephew of the owner, was our host for this time and he went above and beyond in showing us the place and making us comfortable. It is quite special to get to know the island from his eyes and I am thankful for having shared dinner with him the night we arrived and had the chance to have a relaxed conversation about the place. Breakfast (paid extra) is well priced and worth it with a pretty view of the island and the Nile. The driver they hired for us to go to Abu Simbel and back was a gem, and it was a fair price. Rooms are clean and comfortable and cute Nubian deco. Great restaurants around. Very easy to go freely back to and from Aswan.

The bathroom is quite small. Also, be warned: no ATMs on the island unless you are prepared for a small adventure.

great location on atmospheric Nile Elephantine Island, villager walks/ hand made shopping products, exceptional view over Nile, boats, skyline...., superb host with extended family, 4 restaurants few minutes walk, 1 1 serving beers
