He is an exceptional person who goes above and beyond to fulfill every possible request from guests. If you want to experience an authentic Nubian stay, this is the place to be.

Everything was perfect

It wasn't just guesthouse. I felt like I was in my home. Guesthouse host is super kind and supportive. He would like to do everything that guest wants and needs. It isn't a thousand dollar fancy hotel, but if you are looking for a place where you want to feel comfortable like home, don't hesitate to stay here. (Certainly, location and facilities are fine.)

Good location for a guest house and a very helpful owner who can organise transport and sightseeing. His location is close to cafes and restaurants on the island. The island is free from noise and traffic which means no cars or jeeps and you can walk through nubian villages and houses.

Extremely clean! And pretty rooms, with good decor and color combinations. Good breakfast too. The owner, Mohamed, is very helpful and organised a visit to Abu Simbel for us. With a good safe driver and a guide on site.

I liked how Abouda made it his mission to greet us and spend time on his roof top balcony talking through the area and history. This property is loved. It is well maintained and super clean. Shoes off at the entrance. Stayed an extra night. Very happy.

It is a bit of a first impression snag, but as soon as you get inside and see how the property is perfectly clean and cared for, it quickly disappears.

Ali the host was absolutely amazing and was extremely hospitable!! He welcomed us to the guest house and made us feel at home, showed us where to get dinner and helped us make travel plans. He made sure we were looked after and felt like he was really looking out for us. Elephantine Island is a great place to stay and the Nubian people are so kind and welcoming. Thank you to Ali and his brothers for hosting us, we hope to be back!

the host was very hospital, maybe a bit pushed too much as he was eager to know my itinerary and tried to offer better tour options for me, which some of them worked and I really appreciate that. but the overall feeling was a bit too over-controlled. the connections the host has were amazing, taxi driver, ferry, and sailing boat all beyond expectation. if you would like to experience the life on elephantin island I would highly recommend this place.

the fact it's on a remote island sometime brought some inconvenience which I didn't know when I booked the place in the first place. but all solvable and worked out well.

I stayed here three nights at the beginning and end of my stay on Elephantine Island. Mohammed Abouda is a great guy who really looks after his guests and goes out of his way to ensure they are comfortable and at ease. The roof terrace has a wonderful view of the Nile. If I return I will certainly stay here again.

The room was nicely decorated. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent. Roof had a good view.
