"Good for back packers!"

This Guest House is good for back-packers. Not adapted for families. It was clean and breakfast prepared by the owner, reasonably good. No doubt, the best is the roof terrasse, with excellent views. In the neighbourhood, good restaurant.

The access to the Guest House is difficult when coming to the island with a large suit-case using the normal public boat. Better to order a boat from the guest house. Pictures do not reflect genuinely the type of guest house proposed.

"Excellent Stay"

Excellent stay lovely super clean guesthouse. Abouda is a lovely man extremely helpful and knowledgeable of Egypt. He can plan everything for you Abu Simbel, airport or train pick up, day trips, sunset boat trips, overnight boat trips, basically everything he even arranged a transfer for me to Marsa Alam Red Sea. Lovely roof terrace. 10*

"Great stay, great hospitality from the host."

Nice roof terrace with excellent view, front row to the Nile, and a comfortable room with a fridge. Value for money. Best of all is the friendly host, Mohamed, who speaks perfect English. He helped us organize our trips, had a lot of good advice to share, and even fixed it so we could have clothes repaired. Mohamed rocks!

"Everything you need for a restful stay and a warm welcome on Elephantine Island."

Mohammed is a wonderful host--he checked with us throughout our travels to make sure we were able to find the way and he also helped us set a good price for the taxi from the airport to the ferry. His guest house is beautifully made, with vibrant colors and a welcoming arrangement. We had everything we needed. Mohammed also welcomed us with tea on the roof and joined us to talk more about the area before suggesting where we could go for a late night snack and beer. We wish we had planned to stay longer.

🇮🇸 we stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much. Mohammed was very helpful and friendly and speaks excellent English. He helped us organise day trips from here that were successful. The guest house is clean and pleasant and has a wonderful view of the Nile from the roof.
