Pension Post Rüdesheim

It was cheaper than others and provided good comfort and was clean and very quiet

I left early and it was not quite clear how to check out and where to leave the bag, but worked out fine with the hotel offering breakfast

Zentral, aber sehr laut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, man muss allerdings in ein anderes Hotel gehen, welches ca. 150 Meter entfernt ist

Völlig in die Jahre gekommen, Rezeption ist in einem anderen Haus, nur kaltes Wasser, das Bad war so klein, dass man sich nicht drehen konnte und alles nass wurde. Mobiliar sehr alt und wenig liebevoll.

Super Frühstück im Park Hotel neben an

Einfache Ausstattung in der Pension zum vernünftigen Preis...Fenster zur Seitenstraße raus war sehr ruhig. Motorrad konnte gegen Aufpreis im Hof abgestellt werden. Einchecken im Restaurant nebenan...sehr leckeres Frühstück im Hotel die Strasse runter... Für die eine Nacht super Ok.

Location is good for Town and train station

Confusing and confused......... Booked a room for 3 nights at Hotel Pension Post. Booking.com confirmation says "Room with balcony" - there are no balconies. Then an email sent from Hotel Pension Post says :"Check in at Hotel Rheinstein. Welcome drink will be offered " - no welcome drink was offered. Then, "breakfast will be served at Hotel Rheinstein". First day, breakfast was in fact at the Park Hotel, then back to Hotel Rheinstein for 2 more days. Staff were not sure how to do the check in or collect payment. On finally entering the room at Hotel Pension Post, the room had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. I did not feel particularly comfortable sleeping in a hotel (Pension Post) where I was apparently the sole guest. No staff whatsoever, and no indication of other guests in the building. Breakfast staff at Rheinstein were not exactly "welcoming". I have been travelling in Germany for more than 50 years on business and for leisure, and this was an extremely sub par offering. Just not what I would expect for this price in Germany.

The location of the property is central, and it overlooks the river, which is rather beautiful.

I didn't like that the staff didn't provide a description of how to enter it. We wandered bags in hand until we finallly stumbled upon it. There's also no truly close parking, and while the hotel overlooks the river, it also overlooks the train tracks which are ACTIVE all night long.
