Pension Post Rüdesheim

Excellent location on the riverside opposite the main pier, short and pleasant walk (past automata museum, castle and vineyards) from the station. Spacious room, looking over a quiet side street, furnished with carefully chosen traditional furniture, very cosy when curtains drawn, comfortable bed. Loads of places nearby to eat in the evening.

I didn’t realise when booking that the reception and breakfast were a few doors down at the Rheinheim Hotel. They gave us a key to a back entrance to the Pension Post building. It was secure enough but seemed a bit empty.

Die Lage , Zimmer war sauber . Getränke verfügbar . 1 x Cola / 2 x Wasser

Man musste ein paar Häuser weiter einchecken , sowie frühstücken. Das Hotel selbst war ohne Personal. Hatte das Zimmer 114 . Das Waschbecken befand sich im Zimmer . Toilette und Die Dusche in einem extra kleinen Raum . Erinnerte etwas an ein modernes Gefängnis . Fernseher funktionierte nicht. Preis/Leistung war nicht gut . 125 Euro die Nacht OHNE Frühstück. Dies hätte nochmal 16,90 Euro gekostet . Kaffee miserabel. Parkplatz nicht direkt am Hotel kostet 15 Euro am Tag . Person war so lala

Leider nichts , der Eingang total runtergekommen, mussten im anderen Hotel ein checken, Parkplatz naja, Möbel waren ok aber das Bad !

Der Eingang ist total runtergekommen . Einchecken mussten wir in einem anderen Hotel frühstücken auch , Zimmer nur das nötigste , Bad eine Katastrophe , Frühstück nichts besonderes , wir hatten jetzt im mai Weihnachts servierten 🙈und alles zusammengewürfelte Möbel , schade.

Location was excellent

We had our booking for the Post Hotel and when we arrived the hotel was locked with a sign to go down the street to another hotel for check-in When we finally found the other hotel they couldn't find our reservation Eventually after a long wait they came up with the reservation It appeared that the same owner owned both hotels so I asked if we could stay at the hotel we were in, they agreed and from then on things worked out I didn't feel comfortable staying at the other hotel with no staff around

Waren direkt in der Nähe von der Bahn die Nacht war Katastrophe zu laut vom Bahnverkehr die ganze Nacht

Location, fridge and water in room. Cool mural on wall.

Extra pillows would have been great. No kettle/coffee pot.
