"Fantastic room, friendly owners, great views!"

Lovely spacious room with great views over the hills. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we could need including fresh milk stocked in the fridge! It was quiet and relaxing. Both owners were very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Great value for money, would definitely stay again.

"Would definitely recommend"

Very spacious room with an en-suite. Equipped well for a short stay. Such a great location and beautiful view from our window. Alan the host refreshed the room daily and welcomed us with a warm smile! The bathroom got a bit humid as we couldn’t open the window, but I couldn’t fault the stay.

Alan the host is very friendly room was big and clean with wonderful views of Peveril castle the location is great and central and bus near by castleton is a lovely place and we would come again sometime when it’s available

location was great for hikes and very accessible by bus, by the side of the road hence abit noisy

"Absolutely delightful stay in both accommodation and the town and the area. Would love to return."

The aspect looking out over fields and hills at the back, the room size and decoration and layout. Facilities excellent, including daily milk, fresh drinking water and biscuits! Most helpful tips for local meals and excursions.

Only slight downside for us was the sound of early risers in room above us.

Alan is a very friendly host. Easy to check-in and easy to communicate with. The room is spacious and comfortable. It’s also located at a convenient location to explore the Peak District! I would stay there again next time.
