Alan was a great host! We enjoyed the size of the room and proximity to town

A little noisy as was on main road but we knew this.

Location was fab and view was great. Room was lovely, and plenty of tea and coffee which was really appreciated. The small fridge and coffee machine with pods were brilliant. A small sofa to sit and enjoy the view was a bonus. Really lovely place to stay with a very friendly host. There is no parking on site but plenty of parking on road outside property. Would happily stay here again.

Fantastic guesthouse in a beautiful village in the Peak District . Perfect place to base yourself to explore the peaks . The guesthouse is located only a few minutes walk from great pubs /coffee shops /bakery The room is very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom its clean and modern . The room has a fridge , kettle and a coffee machine . The tea bags /coffee/biscuits etc.. get replenished daily and so does the fresh milk and water in the fridge , such a lovely touch . Alan was a wonderful host , incredibly attentive and always available if we need anything . We had a very quiet and comfortable stay , exactly what we needed . Highly recommend this excellent guesthouse to anyone visiting the Peak District

We absolutely loved everything. If we have to be picky maybe just the bathroom door closer was a bit noisy , especially in the night . But that’s such a tiny thing , we really couldn’t fault this amazing accommodation and would definitely return .
