Four Seasons Guesthouse

A very comfortable, lovely stay. My room was at the back of the house and had the most wonderful view of Mam Tor and along the ridge, with gorgeous sunsets. Alan's a very helpful and friendly host - thank you! Room was spacious, clean and comfortably laid out. Also had a small fridge which was very handy. Located on the edge of the village but only a few minutes walk from local eateries, grocery shops and local walks. A great find!

The location was excellent with road parking. Breakfast was not provided but there was tea and good coffee making facilities with real milk!! To be honest there are plenty of places open around 8am to get breaksfast in Castleton. The hosts made us feel very welcome and kept the place clean and tidy with fresh cups, milk and biscuits for the following day! We would recommend this lovely place to stay and would certainly come here again if we were in the Peak District.

Absolutely lovely guy.home from home.right in castleton.fairly easy parking over road.spotlessly clean .lovely view(front room) nice and quiet after the tourists have left castleton at night.would definitely go again.without hesitation. Plenty of pubs around for breakfast and evening meals. Ps great pricing for rooms.

Beautiful stay. So clean and comfy. Host was such a lovely guy too.Everything you needed for a short stay. Would highly recommend.

Only personally I would.like a blind in bedroom to make the room darker to sleep

Room, location and view were lovely!

Location was brilliant, very central. Able to book two rooms as went with friends. The host was friendly and let us into our rooms early to drop off luggage (use facilities) on the morning.

The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a couple with two suitcases. Lots of tea and coffee was provided with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge.

The only thing I could fault was that parking was on the road outside of the property. Not a problem during our visit but I can imagine that in the summer holidays and weekends it could be.

The main room was clean, comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was very large with a lovely shower. Tea and coffee(pod machine) making supplies were topped up on a daily basis with a small fridge for milk etc. The host Alan was extremely friendly and available for advice if needed. Numerous pubs, tearooms and shops are within a 5min or less walk, an ideal location for a relaxing escape with numerous walks available directly from the door.

Nothing, no private parking but had no issues in parking on the street just outside.
