No 9 The Guest House Perth

Right from the start we were made to feel very welcome at No 9 .Fiona was very informative on places to visit and establishments to eat etc . As we were travelling by rail even offered us a lift out to Scone Palace which was above and beyond our expectations . She with her husband Peter prepared an exceptional cooked breakfast which set us up for the day ahead. We would highly recommend to friends, family or anyone looking for a friendly establishment to rest their weary bones after a busy day or week's travelling No 9 the Guest House , Perth.

The location was great. An easy 10 minute walk into the city centre. Our just Fiona was lovely and very welcoming. Delicious home cooked breakfast too.

Location & Breakfast.

Bed was made up with blood stained bottom sheet and mattress protector. Toilet was dirty with poo spray. Peter who was working there was aggressive and verbally abusive. The Host apologised for the dirty sheet, blamed her cleaner and replaced it. When we asked Peter if the toilet could be cleaned while we were out he became aggressive, shouting at us saying “he did not believe us and said we were liars and that he did not care what we put on booking .com that if we did not like it we should just leave. It was very upsetting, we did not know if we would be able to get in on return. The following morning the host told booking .com that we were a no show and said that we would get a refund which has not happened. On going complaint still.

The breakfast was amongst the best I've had. Room was well furnished. Location was ideal.

I found the bed a little soft but that is a personal preference

The house was adequate but lacked a personal touch. The furnishings needed some freshening up and the dining area was rather uninviting. The hostess was gracious but seemed to be struggling to maintain the home and provide the breakfast. She was very helpful either our plans while staying with her.

For us the location was just right, Fiona was the perfect host, nothing any trouble to her.
