Charming place, great breakfast.

Great choice of breakfast. I had various different things. Favourite was poached eggs on tattie scones with haggis.

Don’t be fooled by the outward appearance, inside is a warm welcoming pub. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great shower. Staff were lovely and helpful. Enjoyed the music session in the bar. Good beer.

The breakfast was a bit greasy and disappointing. Would have been nice to get a proper coffee from the cappuccino machine rather than the dull coffee in the metal pot.

Soggiornare fuori dalle rotte turistiche è stata una piacevole scoperta. THE Red Lion Tavern è la sera un tipico pub dove la gente del posto si incontra, la mattina il caffè offre un’abbondante colazione agli ospiti. Le camere sono spaziose, semplici ma accoglienti e pulite, la doccia è molto comoda e la camera è veramente calda. La gente del posto come tutto lo staff è veramente ospitale. È il modo migliore per assaporare la vera Scozia

Nice cozy pub, lovely clean and spacious room. Good breakfast in lovely breakfast room which serves as a dog friendly coffee shop too - lovely selection of home bakes. Very friendly staff.
