The rooms were basic and a bit dated but very clean. This is the equivalent of a motor inn in the US. Not a criticism at all just an observation as the aim of the Red Lion is clearly basic, clean accommodation and they were successful at that. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was central to many beautiful trails.

The only thing I can think of was that the window was sealed. I like a lot of fresh air. However, the maid aired out the room while she was attending to her work.
