Wyke Cowsheds

Amazing place with great attention to detail everywhere. The kitchen in a cupboard was fantastic and well stocked with all the essentials and utensils you need to cook properly if you want to. The duvet was divine, so fluffy and warm and cosy. Everything was lovely! Much bigger than I expected as well. We took our dog and he loved all the space, they've created their own walk at the end of the garden with trees and sculptures that's great to take the dog through.

Few too many flies and bugs but that's what you get out in the countryside!

Beautiful bedroom and bathrooms, and terrace/ field if the weather allows. Good little kitchenette too.

TV limited to iplayer really, no linear live TV, and sofa-TV comfort not ideal for really relaxing in sitting area. Could have done with a light over mirror for shaving etc but this is feedback not criticism... the place was lovely.

Close to everything and a very nice place to stay. Had everything we needed and some special treats when we arrived thank you very much.

One of the best places we have ever stayed! First little break with our dog and was an amazing place. Beautiful property with dog friendly grounds, he was roaming free. Accommodation was delightful! Can’t recommend enough. Very special weekend. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Wyke Cowsheds , a very well equipped , comfortable property in idyllic peaceful surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and we loved the gorgeous dogs and alpacas . Highly recommend .

The property is in a beautiful area. I was travelling with my dog for an event at the nearby Turnpike Showground and the venue could not have been more perfect for us. There is a large fenced garden and a truly lovely walk leading from the garden into the owner’s Millennium Wood area which made our rambles first thing in the morning and last thing at night a pleasure. The cowshed is beautifully decorated and furnished - I did not cook and so cannot comment on the oven and hob but there appeared to be all of the utensils one would need. The shower is great - lovely and hot with good pressure. There is no washing up liquid or tea towel so remember to bring your own or pick some up from any of the nearby supermarkets. The location is wonderfully quiet with lots of bird song. Above the bed is a large Velux window which is a nice touch although no blind so might not suit those who are bothered by morning light. I love to wake up naturally with the sun so this was no problem for me and I enjoyed being able to check out the sky before getting up. My husband,loved the photos I sent home so much, he is insisting on coming next time!
