The Pinfold

The room was lovely and very comfortable. Very nicely decorated too. The owner greeted us and was very helpful, answering questions about the local area. We popped to a nearby pub and enjoyed an early dinner in their library room (the food was great, and there were a lot of different options). We were also very close to the Castle and the train station. Honestly can't think of anything that would have made the stay better. Would happily stay again.

Lovely room clean great shower, everything we needed. Location great 5 mins to town walking. No parking but good local carpark with overnight free parking from 6.00pm. Castle is a great place to visit 2 mins walk and book online fir discount. Canal boat trip 30 mins didntvreally go far but was nice for £5.00

Not really a problem but if had window open at night the church bells chime every 15 mins. It's lovely if you sleep through it We did and shutters on windows kept out noise.

Location. Age. Traditional features eg stone walls and oak beams. Size of room with separate seating area. Very comfortable and cosy.

Property is really well decorated: lots of detail and whoever designed knew what they were doing. Room well stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits. Ensuite equally good-looking and well supplied. Everything spotlessly clean. We checked in about 6 p.m. which coincided with free overnight parking a few hundred yards away, which works really well. Area is very good and property is both very near to centre of town yet comfortably just enough outside so as to be accessible by car. Many thanks
