Woodland House Hotel

It’s friendly and cozy. Staff are wonderful, food is excellent, rooms are clean and comfortable. The best breakfast and the menu for the evening is fantastic. It’s cooked to perfection. This was the second time we stayed there, and we will be back.

The Breakfast slightly limited in choice.

Simple, filling food. We really enjoyed some whisky in their sitting room. A very peaceful location and good views across the countryside.

The beds were hard and the ambiance felt slightly stuck in the last century. Regardless, preferable to a standard chain

Breakfast and evening meal were both excellent, good range of choices on the menu

Only one very little niggle and that was there was no soap in the room
