Beth is very friendly, she told us alll about the area and recommended places to eat and drink.Breakfast was great 😃 Location is just perfect, parking outside. Beautiful place to visit.

Our hosts Steve & Beth were helpful with hints on where to dine, where to travel next day etc. Steve made the best GF porridge I have ever had. Thank you Steve!!Thankfully he shared a few cooking tips with me.The room was spacious, warm and the hosts were generous with bathroom toiletries, tea/coffee/nibbles. The room had a nice view over the township

The hosts had informed us prior to arrival that the hotel underneath our room always have a band on a Friday night. We were a bit concerned re this however we found it was not a problem for us. Maybe due to double/triple glazing.

Wonderful! Lovely room, comfortable bed. Nice quiet location. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, highly recommend the porridge

It’s a Victorian house so don’t expect a lift to the room. ;-)

This is the place to stay in the area. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we we treated so well. Beth is a fantastic hostess who couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, so much choice and locally sourced ingredients, cannot be faulted! The location is superb as we went to visit Balmoral. Beth kindly offered us a piece of her mother in law's lemon cake. If you visit make sure you ask for a piece, it is exquisite!

Both Beth and Simon go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They were kind and helpful and always happy to chat or offer tips and advice on the local area. They clearly love and respect the nature the live amongst and are doing all they can to be eco-friendly and thoughtful about how they work as a business. So brilliant to see and be able to support!

Very comfortable bed and convenient central location in Ballater with parking close by. A great base for exploring the area and for hill walking nearby, especially recommend Glen Muick and Lochnagar. Beautiful area.

Owners were so friendly! The room was great for the three of us. Had a great breakfast in a lovely dinning room. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, loved it!
