Breakfast and pack lunch was brilliant

We love the Duchy House, we wouldn't stay anywhere else - it's perfect. Lovely owners, easy check in, such a comfortable quiet night's sleep and excellent brekkie!

Visit in August 2024 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duchy B&B in Princetown, Dartmoor. This charming retreat beautifully combines modern comforts with historical charm, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The cozy, well-decorated rooms provided the perfect blend of past and present, offering a peaceful escape after a day of exploring the moors, also directly from the house, for example Foggintor Querry. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection to suit all tastes. The freshly baked homemade bread was a particular highlight, perfectly complementing the locally sourced ingredients. We highly recommend Dutchy B&B and will visit again.

Everything was all right

Great location for walking and exploring Dartmoor. A tasty breakfast set us up for a day of walking and we appreciated the comfy bed at the end of the day.

Older style B&B. Very clean and wonderfully friendly and helpful owners. Excellent location and good car parking. Owners offer packed lunches as an extra and bicycle hire available too.
