"Great stop over escape on the way to Cornwall."

The best breakfast of our tour of the South West. Friendly hosts. Great location - its a relatively short and easy walk up to the nearest Tor and the wilderness of Dartmoor.

Duchy House is a real beauty! Beautiful rooms, really nice people, there's even a real coffeemaschine in the room! Breakfast is brilliant and so is the lunchpack you can order. The pub nearby serves excellent food. It' s easy to get anywhere in Dartmoor (you do need a car).

We loved our stay at the Duchy House Bed and Breakfast. It was beautifully decorated and clean. Our hosts were very hospitable. The bed was super comfy. To top it off we walked 200m down the street to start our walk on the moor in the Dartmoor National Park.

"A wonderful stay at Duchy House."

Caroline was extremely welcoming. The accommodation was exceptional. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was stocked with toiletries. We all enjoyed a lovely home cooked breakfast of which there was plenty to choose from. The location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor and surrounds.

"Fabulous hotel"

Beautiful place. Comfortable bed and large room and massive bathroom. So many plug sockets and hangers etc. homemade flapjacks were lovely. So quiet. Free parking. Lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was amazing.
