Mooi, karakteristiek gebouw gelegen op een mooie locatie. Vriendelijk personeel, bereid om overal mee te helpen. Ontbijt was heerlijk, het 5-gangen diner in het restaurant was fantastisch. Last-but-not-least de wiskykamer; wat een sfeer, wat een overheerlijke geur. Ondanks dat we (in 1e instantie) maar met z’n tweetjes waren werd direct de openhaard aangestoken; dat maakt de zin naar een ‘ashtray’ whisky alleen maar groter!

Wij hadden de grote 4-persoonskamer met hierin 2 wc’s maar bij beide wc’s mistte een wc-borstel. Bij het diner had de tijd tussen 2 gangen wel iets langer gemogen.

A gorgeous stay in a castle perched on a hill? Can’t imagine a better spot! Did I mention beautiful peacocks surrounding and the exceptional meal that made us feel fit as kings?
