Arlan House, Central Basingstoke Hotel

Location great. Ease of access good. Plenty of car parking. Room was clean and had all amenities required. Quiet neighbourhood.

Room was much smaller than it appeared in photos. Bed was a small double rather than king size (which we assumed was standard). Room had several air fresheners dotted around and the smell from these became unpleasant over time.

Functional and fit for purpose. Place was as descpribed and close to the town centre easy walk to the site I was working on

The desk chair could have been more comfortable but nothing major. The place was as detailed. Shower could have been a little higher,

We have stayed at Arlan House before as it's in an ideal location for going to shows at The Anvil Theatre - and the shopping centre. Our room (Room 5) was in the main house at the top of a staircase. There was scaffolding outside the window but that did not bother us. The room offered everything we needed - including a fridge. We will return when we are next in the area.

The hot water in the basin only came through as a trickle. The water came through fine (cold) when the lever was turned round.

Very clean and comfortable. Location as described with easy access to the town centre. Everything went very smoothly for our one night stay and they were very helpful and accommodating for an early checkin which was really appreciated. We would stay again and recommend to friends :-)

Very comfortable, clean and thoughtful touches. Very close to the centre of town and convenient for shows at the Artrix.
