Ms. Heather was beyond exceptional — truly one of the best hosts we have ever had in our travels. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Without us even asking, she picked us up from the train station in the rain, drove us to Eilean Donan Castle, took us grocery shopping, and made sure we were comfortable and cared for at every step. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine warmth made us feel more like family than guests. I was planning a proposal before our stay, and Ms. Heather made it absolutely unforgettable. She helped behind the scenes, surprised us with engagement gifts, decorated her car, and even celebrated with champagne — all completely unprompted. She somehow knew my partner would say yes before I did! Her thoughtfulness and excitement for us turned a special moment into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. The pod itself is wonderful — cozy, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for both seasoned travelers and first-time visitors. While compact, it was perfectly laid out with absolutely no complaints. Everything was stocked better than many hotels we’ve stayed at: plates, cutlery, glasses, and even a fully stocked fridge with grapes, milk, water, orange juice, and more. The location is also ideal. You can easily walk into Kyle of Lochalsh in about 10–15 minutes to reach restaurants, shops, the grocery store, and the train station. It’s peaceful yet incredibly convenient. This stay exceeded every expectation imaginable.

The breakfast was cereals and porridge which suited us. Heather was very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The pod is fantastic and well equipped ,Heather has thought of everything

The pod was adorable. It was a great home base for day trips to Skye. It was very clean and Heather was very helpful and welcoming. It felt so cozy and comfortable.

We didn't like the midges, but nature is nature.
