Great location, very comfortable bed

Decor was a little tired, but didn't hinder the stay at all

what a cute little inn!! the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us to stay comfortably, and the dinner downstairs in the pub was fantastic. beds were so soft and comfy, and everything felt clean and modern.

The room looked beautiful better than we expected, lots of room and was really surprised to see they had toiletries avaliable to use . The village and surrounding area was lovely and had a few nice walks so brilliant if you have a dog. The lady that checked us in was absolutely lovely and so welcoming.

When we first entered the room we noticed all the windows were open which we didnt really question. The room was beautiful and the staff so lovely. As we settled in and started closing all the windows we started noticing a strong smell of damp and mould. The grout in the shower was black from not being properly maintained and the ceiling in the shower peeling too. The ceiling above the bed looked like it had a previous leak but never properly painted and plaster missing in parts of the ceiling too. Im not sure if thats something I just notice being a decorator myself. Im glad it was only an overnight stay as my partner, being asthmatic was really chesty in the moring from the smell of damp. We left just before 10 o'clock as that was our checkout time but their was no one around to talk to about the issues.
