Host couldn't have been more helpful. Large, warm & comfy bedroom with an equally spacious bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Parking right outside entrance & great dining spot just across the road.

Was a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Good value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

No WiFi but didn't impact experience

Located just off the main road between Inverness and Aberdeen.

Traffic all night long. We live in a quiet place and to us it was noisy. Steep stairs with no handrail at top and bottom. Broken mirror door on wardrobe dangerous. Complimentary continental breakfast. No one told us where to get milk, juice or water so ended up not having any breakfast. Owner came back to us saying they are short of staff but should have been told when checking in where these items would be located.

The owner was absolutely lovely and made an effort to look after us. The bed was actually very comfortable and bathroom spacious, not a bad room for the price albeit slightly cramped, everything worked and had been cleaned well.

The property was very noisy, with thin walls between rooms, a huge amount of outside noise, and windows that did nothing to block this out. This was unfortunately very disruptive to sleep at night. I feel bad giving a bad review as the owner of the hotel was very lovely and treated us well, but I wouldn’t book here again purely due to the noise and lack of sleep we endured as a result.
