"Would 100% recommend this a great place to stay and we would stay again."

10.0

It was very clean and a well kept house. Quiet location. Very welcoming. Our host was very nice and cooked us a lovely breakfast every morning, from muffins to fruit salads to full English she could do it all. She Kept our milk topped up in our room and made sure everything went smoothly. The perfect blend of feeling welcomed into a lovely home with great views by but also gave us plenty of privacy.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

Excellent location and good parking access. Mirain provides an excellent breakfast and even accommodated our request for overnight porridge oats. The facilities are above and beyond many B&Bs- fresh milk in your room, lots of different toiletry items. Clearly a lovingly restored and furnished old rectory.

"A perfect stay in a gorgeous home."

10.0

We loved the Vicarage. Miraine was an amazing host, and the property is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated with local antiques and artwork. Our room had an amazing bathroom, with a huge footed tub and also a big shower. The furnishings in the room were beautiful. The breakfasts were incredible - all made to order by Miraine. Don't miss the Welsh Rarebit or the special cheddar soufflé. Wow. The property is well located for seeing this part of the Welsh coast and for visiting Snowdonia. There are good hikes right from the property. We highlight recommend The Vicarage.

We liked everything.

"Quiet and comfortable stay!"

10.0

Mirain, the host is very friendly and kind! The house is historically beautiful! The room and bed are comfortable enough for two of us. The bathroom is very clean and spacious. Best hospitality!

The location is ideal if you’re planning to visit Portmeirion and Porthmadog. We didn’t go hiking ourselves, but from what I’ve read, it’s also a great base for hikes around Snowdon. However, the town itself is very small and doesn’t offer much in terms of entertainment, restaurants, or bars. The property is located right in the center of the town, so dining and activity options are quite limited unless you’re willing to walk about 20 minutes to the next town.
