Rossdene House

Wow! What a lovely warm welcome my friend and I received from the moment we arrived. We were invited into the dining / bar area to sit and chat. We were given sheets to tick to choose what we would like for breakfast no food waste that's a plus. Then given our key, the room was lovely so big plenty of room it was a triple so my friend had the double and I took the single. Bathroom was small but unless you plan on having a disco in there it's not a problem. Our toilet seat gave up on service while we were there not a problem it was replaced so quickly and without fuss. It was the rebellion punk festival while we there so interesting stories at breakfast. Also we had the riots happening so we ended up limited to what we could do. But the owners kept us informed of any updates they had. If you book here it's about a 15 minute walk to town, ubers and taxis are reasonable. But most of all its a wonderful B&B and you get a warm welcome and wonderful service, nothing is to much trouble.

We wanted to stay somewhere in Blackpool away from the hustle and bustle but within close proximity to the tram line and somewhere walkable from the Blackpool centre . This hotel was just the place; a 15-20 minute walk from the North Pier but only a 5 minute walk from the nearest tram line stop 'Wilton Parade'. The property is just off the main road and then down a side street so lovely and quiet. Debbie & Adi the owners were lovely and welcoming. We stayed in the family room as there was 4 of us. Nice big room. Lovely white bedding which I always look for. Great shower. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. A smart TV. Hairdryer, iron and a fan in the room if needed. Breakfast was lovely. Choice of a cooked breakfast , cereals, pastries, fresh fruit. Filtered coffee, tea and fruit juices and not forgetting toast. The owners took over in November 2023 and have put their stamp on the place. The lounge / dining room is newly decorated and lovely, light and airy. Nice bar area where you can have a drink and watch tv. If you are coming from the North station, there is now a tram to get you to the property. Just board the T3 and get off at Wilton Parade, then a 5 minute walk to the property. How easy is that. I would suggest buying a group tram ticket if there is a group of you as unlimited use daily on both buses and trams; ideal if you struggle walking.

There was nothing I could fault about the place; everything was lovely.

I had stayed here before under different owners. The new owners could not be more friendly or attentive. Because everyone staying at the hotel was there for the same festival, they even moved breakfast to a later time to suit us all. Thank you.
