Location, excellent. Walk to the city centre. Room, spacious, clean, large comfortable bed, shower only in our room. Blackout curtains which are important in June. Fridge, coffee, tea etc. Parking right out front. We stayed in room 5, top floor, 40 step staircase, rooms 4,6 and 7 top floor. If you’re not fit, book rooms A,B or C on the ground floor. Wifi on the slow side so don’t expect to work from this hotel. No plug other than for a shaver in the bathroom.

Immaculately clean, well thought out, stunning view and the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Lovely little details like the binoculars and a can of iron bru. I could have sat in the window all day just watching the boats.

We were only in town one day but the room was a lovely and comfortable stop-over. We stayed in room 7. A beautiful room with an amazing view. Mark was kind and responsive to our inquiries. We would absolutely stay at the Barriemore Oban again.

A 5 min walk from Oban town centre, great location with views out over the water. We took our dog so space to walk him safely as well as some little green spaces to explore. Great location. Room was a good size, clean with a very comfortable bed. Welcomed by Mark, and whilst we didn’t need anything, we knew anything we did need would have been accommodated. Oban is a very friend wonderful little town, central to explore the area. Will be back and would recommend the Barriemore as a great place to stay.

Location, 5-10 mins walk out of town centre was perfect. Lovely walk along the Esplanade with fantastic views across the bay. Room, very clean, bed very comfortable and quality power shower. Great parking. Warm welcome given.
