Really good bed, hot shower, and small treats in the room ☺️ - just what we needed

Great location, so comfortable, ample parking, very well thought through for guests - we even borrowed a bed for the dog from the lounge while we were there

Everything! Very comfortable, good sized rooms, the additional lounge was welcome.

Stanza molto bella con affaccio sul mare!

What a breath of fresh air to find the guest house Barrymore in Oban. An incredibly relaxing and beautiful environment in which to stay. The 5 star reviews say everything. We were surprised at how many good restaurants there are in in Oban. The (Reviews summary) is accurate in its praise for the property and the owners, Mark and Jan who are dedicated to keeping the property in excellent condition, and making our stay so memorable. Again, one of the most relaxing 3 day breaks we have experienced. Yes we will return to this lovely guest house.

It’s a great location, a 20 min pretty walk to the ferry if you’re headed to Mull, 5-10 min to restaurants. Beautiful building with a great view (recommend the sea view — it’s really stunning). The room I booked was huge and beautiful, nice bathroom, lots of little touches from the owners who are very kind, friendly, and responsive people.

My only complaint is the bed — it’s huge but the mattress needs a change. It had two huge indentations, the springs/foam are *gone*. I was so tired each day that I could sleep but I had to do a bit of yoga to undo that mattress’s effect on my back. If you have back issues at all, that would probably really do a number on you.

The hotel was right on the seafront overlooking the bay.. The room was large comfortable and airy with a contemporary decor. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect & views that can not be bettered. Staff/owner super helpful & friendly Loved dogs!! Spotlessly clean- as if the room had been just decorated! Sherry was such a lovely touch. Beds super comfy & very spacious room. Great bathroom facilities & powerful shower. Seriously one of the best properties we have stayed at!
