Good on-site car parking and the owners were very welcoming. Lovely quiet location close to the river. Substantial proper English breakfast cooked to order in a fine dining room.

It was OK, but we expected more from a 4 star rated property. We were in the "budget" outbuildings but the room was very small and windowless apart from a skylight. Off putting narrow staircase to room and very tiny bathroom. Perhaps the difference between rooms in the main house and the budget annexe rooms could be far better described in the accommodation description. This was not apparent to us when we booked.

Breakfast is superb! Location excellent; a lovely , easy walk to Ironbridge plus good pubs that served food & great beer. You can walk to a few museums from Calcutts House too. The hosts are wonderful!
