Balmoral Guest House

Breakfast was really nice, the staff was also nice too and too distance to the event was a only a small 6 minute walk.

The wi-fi was really slow to me, the sink in the room had the handle for the cold tap missing and there where six or more creaks in the ceiling.

Lovely team and fabulous building

Old-fashioned bed and breakfast establishment.Value for money. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent full English breakfast with very good coffee. Got one free introductory breakfast - not sure why but I wasn’t complaining! Good breakfast room. Paid for breakfast was good value. Well situated for the town centre. All facilities mentioned existed. Very friendly owner and staff. Good communications. Bedroom had desk and chair. Wifi was OK (mostly).

The following points were minor. Couldn’t get a wifi signal initially in the evening a couple of times (but then a bit later it was detectable again). Built in basin in room was a bit tired - but still clean. Very small room - but it was very good value, and had all the facilities expected.

The room was great and I like how the house still retains its features from when it was built. I didn’t choose the breakfast option but it was offered to me on the house. It’s definitely worth going for the option as it’s cooked to your taste!
