"A budget option, very nice people and an amazing breakfast"

The people that own the place were lovely, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing

The room was very basic with a lot of evidence of leaks, peeling paper, the mattress was very old and the bed had no headboard

Services are great for the price. I stayed a night before at Mercure kings Darlington but Balmoral felt more like home and welcoming. Breakfast is great. Great value for money.
