"In desperate need of a new mattress"

6.0

Review is for the single bed accommodation only. I did not go into the main building/dining area, I had no need. These are observations for a single traveller weighing up this property. Clear instructions on how to get to/enter the room, as it was via a fire escape at the back of the building. The room itself was reasonable for a single, a really good size. Facilities included a clothes hanger rack, iron and board, large fan, microwave and fridge. All of which was nice to have. Also an IKEA chair to sit on (it did have an unknown stain though) as well as a desk with chair. A kettle and a decent amount of tea, coffee and sugar but only two milks, maybe an oversight when restocking? Bathroom was small but the shower was a decent size. Both the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Property was located in a residential area so overall relatively quiet - I would say that if you were there on match days (Watford's stadium is not far) it would get pretty hectic at those times. Speaking of location, it's a just over ten minute walk to the nearest tube (Watford Station) there's not much around but there is a nice park close to the station. Handily there is a Tesco Express a few minutes walk up the same road the car park is on.

You have to go up a fire escape to get to the room and this is the only route out. Obviously the external door is not locked, as it doubles as the fire escape. A fire escape should not be an access door!! The door to the room is heavy and noisy (I found this to be the case with other doors too, when people were returning late!) and doesn't lock from the inside - it's one of those turn latch types, with a button that should lock when moved but it wasn't functional. Not ideal. Shower temperature control was far too sensitive, going from hot to freezing if you turned it more tham a few millimeters (though it was only cold temporarily). There was a slight whiff of sewage occasionally from the toilet. No idea why but someone thought it a good idea to put a big, thick mirrored cabinet directly above the tiny basin. This made it a challenge to brush teeth or shave, as you would have to put your head down and back to get your face close enough to the little sink. There was no need for this with the basin being small, a flat mirror and a shelf works better- a nearly two foot cabinet as a solo traveller is not necessary. Trying to fill a bottle or a kettle was also a problem with the small sink and low tap height. I get they don't want you to use loads of water but at least allow some access. The curtains were very light coloured and let the light in easily, no blackout curtains. And why have three quarter length nets? You could be seen from the car park and the road - get the correct length of net. Unfortunately the floors were really, really creaky and loud. I was on the 1st floor, my floor was bad and so was upstairs, you heard every single bit of movement. It's not a really old building so not sure why it was like that. Coupled with the constant crunch of the gravel in the car park, right outside when the windows were open (it was hot) meant it was sometimes not quiet.

"Pobyt bardzo udany, dziękujemy personelowi za pomoc."

10.0

Łatwe zameldowanie, a personel bardzo pomocny (doceniamy i dziękujemy za zaangażowanie Pana Marka). W pobliżu cisza i spokój.

Brak zastrzeżeń, jednak trzeba mieć na uwadze, że są to przedmieścia Londynu. Metro jeździ nieregularnie, ale za to spokojna okolica.
