Very clean modern large room , bed was huge and lovely clean sheets , excellent shower and bath , great location , far enough from noisy pubs , but close enough quick walk to said pubs and shops , restaurants ect

The only thing was the pillow,s could maybe be a bit more comfy, maybe some new one,s xxx

Proximity to Town Centre and Ferry Terminal. Modern decor.

Single bed, I would have said no thanks if advised. Top floor, nightmare with luggage. Insufficient parking, 5 spots for 9 rooms. I had to circle past many times to check for a parking spot at check in and wait for someone to leave. Illegally parked in, by some UK car, making my exit tricky, I almost knocked on every door to find the culprit at 8am, when checking out. WiFi asks for too much personal info, WiFi Social. I was in Room 8. If you are taller than 6 foot, sitting on the toilet will be tricky as the ensuite is very narrow.

Great location. Communication from the management team was great. Room amenities were excellent. We were in room 5 and it was a very comfortable stay.

Parking was available although its first come first served. On our visit we found a parking space each time we came back from our day out. When booking, parking is advertised as on site, it wasn't until nearer the booked time that we were told there may not be a space available for everyone as there were more rooms than car spaces. Near the town, within a short walk.

Room 7 was clean and tidy, it had very dark brown painted walls, ceiling etc. Needs brightening up with white paint.

The room is nice, nice shower, nice bed, good location.

The staff is harmful. This is the kind of people that you ask them: Hey do you have a parking lot? And they send you a list of 20 parking lots in Oban, instead of telling you they actually have a private parking lot. Why would you do that? Then you ask them: Hey, how I get in? And they will send you 3 pages of rules instead of you saying that you need to open the door (that the door is actually unlocked ) and then you will find a lock box with your keys. Why would you do that? Why??? You need to stop doing this.

Not a lot was so looking forward to it.

My room was small in the attack. Dark and poor painting. Lots of chips about the place.

Cleanliness, shower, location very good

Lack of storage for clothes etc. No mirror near a socket for hair styling.

Good location, we couldn’t park over the weekend but there are plenty of other places to park nearby and on the Monday there were spaces in the car park. Nice and clean & comfy. I’ve stayed at Raniven a couple of times and would return but won’t stay in room 1 again as it’s downstairs by the front door and the bathroom is very tiny.

Room 1 bathroom was very tiny, fine for one person for a couple of nights though.
