Quiet location only a short walk from Alnwick Town centre. On site parking is a bonus. Very comfortable king size beds in rooms 4 and 5. Early check-in is a helpful option.

Access to the ' Executive Lounge ' - locked by early evening so not available to residents wishing to sit down after an evening meal. Perhaps highlighting this pre booking would avoid disappointment and unexpected tension when enquiring during stay?

Delicious and varied breakfast with eggs from Jackie’s chickens. 11.30 am check in so helpful as could leave bags and go exploring.

The host gave good recommendations for restaurants

the room was clean and comfortable with reasonable tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was reasonable but service not particularly friendly

information on arrival was inaccurate and inadequate. On arrival another guest told us we had parked in the wrong space even though we had been given no information on parking. Instructions on accessing the property were out of date and our registration form, with our personal details, had been left out on the arrival desk for anyone to see. We saw nothing of the owners until breakfast the next morning and even then their response was peremptory and not particularly welcoming

The room though relatively small was well appointed and spotless. Lovely ensuite, plenty of hot water and an easy to use shower. Breakfast was delicious too.

Room and bathroom small for two people and their belongings. Very little space for toiletries or wash bags in bathroom.

Clean, and nice room. Good breakfast.

Have always been greeted on arrival at accommodation where we've stayed and seen off when leaving. This didn't happen here, just didnt seem right.
