It was quirky and so different from the usual chain hotels, full of character and the attention to detail was great and unique. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom luxurious and large.

All was perfect

A lovely old house, in a beautiful setting. Very friendly welcome and an excellent breakfast - all home made. Our room was a decent size, with high ceilings making it feel even bigger. Although the bathroom was small, the height kept it airy and meant the showerhead was a good foot above my (tall) husband - much appreciated by him! We particularly liked the 2 sitting rooms, with comfy sofas and quirky art and were sorry not to have the opportunity to sample drinks from the honesty bar.

It's very dog friendly, including in the breakfast room - it didn't bother us at all, but worth being aware.

Beautiful setting, welcoming & very helpful owner. Sassy, stylish design! We were planning our return during our stay!
