Grove Guest House

Very close to the station and trams, which was Excellent. Newly carpeted throughout and very clean. While no staff on site apart from the daily cleaner, you had everything that you could need.

Room was really comfortable and I liked that there was a fan and a fridge in the room.

The guest house is well-placed for Beeston - a short walk from the railway station, the town centre shops and cafes, and also the Victoria Hotel, adjacent to the station, where we have our AGM in June. So with some off-street parking and, if needed, parking on-street nearby, it's just about the right place to be.

Really, apart from being in a room on the top floor, there's very little to comment on. The shower/toilet was a little cramped, but that was no great hardship!

Really handy location for the Victoria hotel and Beeston town centre. Also only one stop to Nottingham on the train or you can use the tram

Clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. Well equipped room.

Comfy bed and the room was en suite. Someme topped up the tea bags, which was nice. The little carton of milk was lacto free, but i had brought my own, which i put in the room fridge. There was a jug of cold water in the fridge, which was thoughtful as it was so hot. Parking was available, which was very useful.

There are steep steps to the 1st floor, but I noticed a room available on the ground floor. One window's curtains didn't meet properly, so let the light in. The ceiling lampshades needed cleaning, but everywhere else was ok, and clean. I only noticed them as a ladybird flew in and sat on the ceiling nearby.
