Threadbare carpet in entrance hall & stairs Entrance area dusty Awful smell Room smell was extremely disgusting Smelt of alcohol cigarettes & in my brothers room also urine Coffee cups had brown stains on them Dust on skirtings Shower too low for taller family members (over 5ft 5) Both rooms need urgent update. The smaller room was particularly disappointing. In my opinion it should not be let out. I booked this room for my brother & nephew & I am so embarrassed that they were forced to stay here. Needless to say I did not sleep due to the smell of the room. We checked out as soon as possible & did not stay for breakfast (the eating area was not very welcoming shall we say!)

Awesome room with great space and facilities. Clean and incredibly comfortable. Good location for what I needed. Staff were lovely.

One bedside lamp didn't work but that's really looking for something. A bit noisy being on the High Street side but that was not an issue for me at all.

Really well located in the middle of town, good sized double room with a sofa and TV right at the top of the building.

Bedroom windows need a bit of maintenance so a little draughty and noisy from the high street but honestly with the tv on or in bed I didn’t notice.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the staff/owner were friendly and helpful. The Crown was in a great position in the centre of the town and only a very short distance from the sea front. Although in a central position it was very quiet at night.
