On the high street and had men digging up the road outside our window.

Great location.

We were made very welcome,the rooms we stayed in were spotless and we also had tea and coffee facilities.Rooms cleaned every day and the breakfast was a nice full English (£10 per head).Central for the seafront and shops and entertainment,bars etc.Crissy the landlady was fantastic and would go out of her way to assist,very helpful.

Great location, under 5 minutes away from the beach and shops, roughly 10 mins from Broadstairs railway station at an average walking pace. Really friendly staff, good housekeeping service. Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed, a generous supply of tea, coffee, and milk, which was replenished every day. Excellent and reasonably priced roast dinner available on Sundays (need to pre-book), drinks at bar were a reasonable price.

This is not a slight on The Crown itself, but unfortunately, the following did impact significantly on my stay. I knew on booking that the rooms are above an old single-paned window pub that is on a high street, so expected some noise below and outside, but I underestimated the noise level from pedestrian and car/offloading lorry traffic. I found it to be incredibly loud, and sleep was frequently disturbed despite using earplugs. Unfortunately, the kebab shop directly opposite did not help (open until early hours), as drinkers tended to congregate there and were really loud. This, combined with the usual pub noise (which was at a reasonable level) and the offloading lorries arriving later in the mornings, was unfortunately a deal breaker for me. If you are a heavy sleeper/don't mind noise this may not impact your choice, however if you are not and you're looking to stay here, it may be worth asking for a room to the back of the pub as opposed to the front.

Broadstair was a beautiful little place to visit friend lovely restaurant with beautiful little sea front

Window was broken in the bedroom it had note written on it asking you not to touch the window. You could hear traffic and people into early\Hours of the morning room was quite cold...please repair your window
